WHAT IS CALLIGRAPHY? 

Calligraphy is the visual art  related to writing beautifully If the art of writing by hand is in itself interesting and therapeutic, calligraphy takes this skill to the next level. It seeks to make writing beautiful, artistic, and stylish. The term may derive from Greek words (kallos) "beauty" and (graphein) "to write". Calligraphy is the most highly regarded and most fundamental element of Islamic art.

Islamic calligraphy:

Islamic calligraphy is the artistic practice of handwriting and calligraphy, based upon the alphabet in the lands sharing a common Islamic cultural heritage. Islamic calligraphy is a notion of artistic expression using the Arabic lexicon. Islamic calligraphy has been admired for its beautiful form and line work. 

Importance of calligraphy:
1: Calligraphy improves the control over your hands. 
2: Calligraphy stimulates brain activity and also improves your creativity.                                                                          3: It relaxes your mind and make your vocabulary broader.                                                                                               4: Calligraphy allows you to see each word and phrase in a different way.                                                                      5: It gives you the opportunity to express your emotions through words.                                                                          6: Calligraphy is the art of writing beautiful letters with emotions.
